BU Cheerleading Nationals

Description

We’re dedicated to our love of cheer and the spirit of Boston University. Fall semester, this team has worked hard to raise the money needed to compete at Nationals by cleaning Agganis Arena after events, working at local cheerleading competitions, selling team apparel, and other fundraisers along the way. Our efforts have resulted in over $3,000 raised for the team. Spring semester, we are planning additional fundraisers including youth and college prep clinics, yoga fundraisers, and raffles. Although we have made a commitment to fundraising, we anticipate needing an additional $20,000 to help us get to Nationals.

Please consider donating to help us reach our goal. 100% of the proceeds will go towards the team! We are extremely proud of what we have accomplished this year and are excited to showcase our skills once again, at the national level. (Just wait until you see this year's pyramid!) Donations are tax-deductible. If your company offers a matching gift program, we would be happy to provide additional information. Every penny counts and we truly appreciate your support!

The estimated cost of all expenses to go to Nationals this year is $22,700. Competition Registration Fees: $6,000 Air Transportation: $6,000 Ground Transportation: $2,000 Hotel Accommodations: $5,500 Choreography and Music: $2,200 Practice Gear: $1,000

Personal Message

Boston University Cheer Small Coed (“BUSMOED”) is comprised of a group of talented and dedicated athletes. The team cheers at all home men’s and women’s basketball games, travels for playoff games, face paints at all men’s hockey games, supports other athletic teams at Boston University and volunteers in the community. They work hard all season both in the classroom and on the mat to reach their goals. This year, the team is Daytona bound again and the goals set are high.

While Boston University Athletics supports the cheer program during basketball season, the program must raise the funds to cover all expenses for Nationals. Your support will help cover the costs of travel, registration, and accommodations for the team. Every dollar helps BU Cheer get one step closer to Daytona!
