SUPPORT THE BU DANCE TEAM
Though we receive funding from BU for basketball performance expenses, competing nationally is costly and not funded by the university. Your contributions this year will be used to help cover the necessary expenses to compete next season. The estimated average cost of all expenses to go to Nationals is $23,357.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
Our team works tirelessly each year to raise the money needed to compete at Nationals by selling team apparel, writing donation and corporate sponsorship letters, and selling old costumes. Although we commit as much time to fundraising as we can, it becomes very difficult on top of being full-time students with rigorous academic schedules, having jobs/internships, and many hours of practice. We have already raised $3,000 so far this year, but we need an additional $20,000 to help us compete at Nationals. The funds we raise will be applied towards: competition fees, choreography, costumes, and dance shoes and tights.
HELP THE BUDT REACH OUR GOAL
Each year BUDT travels to Daytona Beach, FL to compete in the National Dance Alliance Collegiate Dance Championship against other Division I college dance teams. This year, we are excited to have the opportunity to compete in the Division I Pom category and the Division I Team-Dance category. During the past fall 2022 semester, the team also competed in an at-home NDA Camp and are proud to have earned a superior rating and a qualifying bid to nationals. Support from our family, friends, alumni, and the BU community plays a large role in helping us achieve our goals.

ROAD TO NATIONALS
We are excited to continue competing in the Division I category and once again achieve our goal of placing among the top teams in the nation! Bringing the title of National Champions home to BU in 2014 and 2016 were amazing experiences, and we would be extremely proud to do it again.
