Campaign Overview
Terriers Together is an opportunity to show your BU pride and make a direct impact on current student-athletes. During this campaign, Terrier alumni, parents, and friends will help raise critical dollars to enhance equipment, nutrition, recruitment, and out-of-region travel needs for our varsity teams.
Thanks to a generous gift from Carrie and Tim Burr (MET’97), bonus funds are on the table! The three teams with the most donors overall at the end of the campaign will win bonus funds, with a top prize of $4,000. And, the three teams with the most unique donors who give during the final day of the campaign, will each win a $1,000 prize.
How will we use your gift?
As a part of this initiative, our team has set a goal of raising $45,000 and is focused on raising funds for the following programmatic needs this year:
• ($25,000) Winter training trip to Newport Beach, CA where the team is hosted by Orange Coast College. The trip cost includes travel back from California to Boston, hotel and food for the week. This trip, allows the team to have quality training on the water during the colder months in Boston.
• ($20,000) Purchase a used Empacher eight shell. Boat is in excellent condition and will fill a need for another training hull for the program.
